Let's go paddling!
River Mustionjoki offers a sheltered and diverse paddling environment.
The canoe trip starts below the Mustio dam (Peltokoski power plant), from the parking lot next to the bridge. We proceed along the Mustionjoki for about 2.5-3 km, after which we reach the first lake. After Päsarträsket lake, which is a couple of kilometers long, canoeing continues along the river for about 4-5 km, after which Kirkkojärvi opens up in front of us. The distance from Kirkkojärvi to our destination Karjaa Pumppulahti is about one kilometer.
The distance on the route is about 16 km and the duration is 4-5 hours.
Our canoes are sturdy and safe 2-seated open canoes.
You should bring outdoor clothing suitable for the weather, spare clothes in a waterproof bag, something to drink, snack, a hat, sunglasses and sunlotion if necessary.
Our paddling trips can already be booked for the period between 1 May and 30 September 2025 and they are also excellent for first-timers!
Price: 480 eur 1-6 persons, additional persons 30 eur/person. Price includes guide services and all the equipment needed for paddling and transportation back to our starting point.
